A campaign to collect goods for the displaced of Cabo Delgado begins in Beira

Insurgency in Cabo Delgado has led thousands of people to leave their homes and livelihoods in search of security. Among the displaced people, the needs are many and the means are few.

To try and help them, the solidarity ship will once again set sail, this time heading for Cabo Delgado.

Mozambique’s Port Operators Association and the Ministry of Transport and Communications have joined forces to collect non-perishable food items, hygiene, cooking utensils and clothing donations in Maputo, Beira, and Nacala. These donations will be packed into containers and transported via our cabotage vessel to Pemba, Cabo Delgado where Ministry of Transport and Communications and INGC will ensure delivery to the refugees affected by the attacks in Cabo Delgado.

Let us show, once again, that we are a people in solidarity with our brothers.

Let us show our solidarity to our families in Cabo Delgado! ❤️?

Donations can be made at CFM Central Station, Solange Beach Club, Catholic University of Mozambique and CFM’s warehouse located next to the Ferroviario Headquarters.
